3-Day Quad  Tour - Kasbah, Saffron & Carpet

This short but eventful guided quad tour take you to visit two kasbahs along the old caravan route, in Ait Ben Haddou and in Agdz; a film studio in Ouarzazate; a village famous for Handmade Berber aarpet in an area where saffron grow wild.

Day 1: Ait Ben haddou to Ouarzazate to Agdz (105km)


After breakfast in Ait Ben Haddou, we take our quads towards Ouarzazate, a famous area for cinema filming in Morocco and Africa. We will stop in Ouarzazate to visit the cinema resort and have lunch before continuing southeast to Agdz. Agdz is an important trading town located on the old caravan route between Marrakesh and Timbuktu. Mount Kissane can be seen from here. Overnight in Agzd.

Day 2: Agdz to Bou Azzer to Taznakht (90km)


After the visit of Tamnogalt kasbah in the Draa valley about 10km from Agdz, we continuing driving in our quads west to Taznakht, famous for carpet handmade by local Berbers in Morocco, via Bou Azzer. We have the option to visit local women’s carpet cooperatives. Overnight in Taznakht.

Day 3: Taznakht to Ait Ben Haddou (100km)


After breakfast in our hotel, we leave Taznakht and drive our quads on a winding trail across the Anti-Atlas mountains, the Siroua massif, a famous growing place of Saffron flowers, where you have the option to stop at the local cooperative to buy some Saffron at reasonable price. Then we continue our drive northeast back to Ait Ben Haddou.
